LOL

Don't worry about MB. He's been corrupted by all the obscenely-named bands he's been looking up today.

I now have to use a gel wrist rest in work

Having said that, I have broken both of my wrists so there was always a strong chance I would have to anyway. I have used one of those special mice, didnt get along with it in the short period I used it, but I can see how it would help if you had CTS really bad

That looks interesting, but my keyboard is much bigger than that so I don't know if it would work

Either that or it is only suitable for giants.

There was a mouse gel support that someone lent me Friday though only for the last part. I have a keyboard one that I ended up getting myself but it's right up against the keyboard so maybe not the best place, hopefully moving that may help.

Will definitely ensure I get a mouse rest one and look into the other type if that doesn't do it. As far as a workstation assessment I filled in one months back and they've still not followed up on it as I made a number of points regarding my dubious chair, neck and so forth. They have said they'll follow up on that soon so hopefully can bring this up.

Have used elastic wrist support thing today between about 11-5 until I needed to do some cooking, seems to have helped (along with not using computer most of day) so fingers crossed.

[ Edit ]
Weird part is I used the computer far more while at Uni as I was doing CompSci and a load of free-lance coding, I guess this kind of thing is cumulative over many years?

My wrists can start aching a heck of a lot after practising card moves for a long time (general cuts/sleight of hand etc). Makes me think *erk*. Don't have a clue what I can do to alleviate it other than not practise for so long. Was wondering whether digging out and playing with the power ball may help build up wrist movement/strength so it may hurt less. Could either make it worse or better!

Hope yours is sorted soon Malceroo.

Ugh! Glove thingy is giving me no end of grief! Every time I go to grab the mouse I end up pushing it away.

It's also hurting a little currently but I don't yet know if that's the glove or the problem that I got the glove to fix. I will persist.
