I'm unsure about the legality of night vision equipment in the UK ; I have friends who use night vision equipment for hunting purposes and they didn't require licencing or similar for the purchase of their scopes/goggles.
However, I'm inclined to agree with Divine and Haly that it may well be something of a grey area that may not lend itself to 'freebie toys' etc.

Looks like a suggested price of $149. Bet that means if the UK gets night vision goggles, it's £149 here :/

£149 would be very cheap, which suggests the night vision is just gonna be cheap tat that works for about 5m at most.

The Hardened edition is now up on Shopto - for £65!! crazy money.
I think i'll stick with my preorder on the standard version, got the special edition last time and it wasn't really worth the extra, in this case £20. |
