I'd stepped away while I did it dawned on me that that was likely the case. They have to take payment on Google and PayPal Checkout orders now because there's no way for them to do so later (they don't have access to the payment details).
My order is at status 'stock warning' and they haven't taken payment. They can't have done as they wouldn't be offering me options to change payment details or cancel the order if they had. I could have got all these licenses via MSDN, but as I've said before I only use my MSDN license to (a) get stuff that is free anyway (like the RC), or (b) get stuff that I need to do my job - whether that's at home or at work, or (c) as a temporary measure either because I can't find my own copies or for evaluation purposes. Seems silly to spurn these cheap prices and risk getting burned later. Last edited by Mark; 15-07-2009 at 01:27. |

Shame. Why does Vista work fine on 2 separate PC's on the same key?

Legit or non legit? I know i'm stating the obvious but it doesn't matter how many non legit copies you install. If it's legit you've somehow managed to hax the Vista activation via accidental voodoo magics

Typical - gave up waiting for Amazon at about 1:02 and it showed up about 6 mins later by all accounts
Anyway, ordered 2xHP and 1xPro from there.

I reckon that someone grabbed a whole pile of the remaining HP from ebuyer to re-sell. Wish I had the cash to do that

Started the new job on Monday within the industry and as Win 7 will be one of our core products will be, I should be getting a copy of Premium to have a play about with on release free of charge \o/

As if that's all each retailer would have, after all the hype surrounding this pre-order offer My guess is that eBuyer, not knowing how many they'd really be able to sell, just stuck a small nominal amount of stock in there to start with. I notice none of the other retailers are even mentioning stock levels.
