Default UFC at war with EA

Dana White, the president of the Ultimate Fighting Championship has claimed that the UFC is now "at war" with Electronic Arts, after taking offence to how the publisher has responded to the fledgling sport.

I read his comments the other day, and they don't surprise me. EA showed no interest in UFC at first, and even derided it as I recall, but now the game and the sport are showing just how popular it is, they want to jump on the bandwagon. He's dead against it and I highly doubt any of his fighters will risk being fired from the UFC by appearing in EAs game, which will mean most of the main draws in the MMA world won't be in the game.

He should know better than to burn bridges, and whilst I agree with the sentiment, he may have been better suited to keeping it private.

that ain't Dana's style.
I <3 UFC, and i think its funny what EA have done there. says a lot about them.
and i wouldn't buy a UFC game from them after getting the official thing from THQ and it just being so good.

I would never say never. There was once upon a time when EA produced inferior NFL, NHL, NBA and Football games than their competitors...

Well it seems it was EA that said never first. That being so, fair play to him for handing that ball back to them.
