How would one make this sound? (Proabably guitarists)

The best example I can think of is Mogwai's "Boring Machines Disturbs Sleep". That reverberating whining noise. I am sure we are free from MP3 tyranny here but I wanted to check with MB and crew first.

I am thinking you do somthing with an electric guitar and fiddle about with it. But more than that I can't say. :/

I managed to nab an e-bow for a friend of mine from flea-bay for cheap. What a mistake. He's a superb guitarist, extremely talented, but he does love his weird sound affects. Giving him an e-bow was just asking for it, it became very rare not to see him playing with it

What's it called Huddy? The tab should be pretty easy to find knowing that.

My EBow just arrived! Learning how to do lots of tricks with it
