Might be different versions. Mine is the Game of The Year version so it'll be covering requirements for the extras disc.

Yeah i'm sure it's a DX8 game but as Daz said, it might not even support that.. You could always wack in a cheap AGP card like a an older Radeon 8500 or better an 9800 pro.

I don't see why it won't work anyway, it may not look excessively pretty but UT won't look very pretty anyhow. A 9800pro would be real overkill imo.

Old onboard graphics. It's essentially software rendering, and even though it's old, it's still a 3D engine. All depends on the chipset really.

I used to play loads of games on a cyrix 333 with software rendering and a k6-2 450 with software rendering till I got a Geforce256. Doesn't look great but it works. And they were extremely crap onboard chipsets, must have been to go with a cyrix.

I've been playing this recently - it's lots of fun - as much fun as UT2004 (my 2 favourites atm).
Thanks Jen Stan

I used to run UT well enough on a 800Duron with onboard graphics. However framerates dropped a chunk when I changed from WinME to WinXP...
