Good stuff I hope to join your club once I get my hands on the goty edition. How long would you say all the DLC is? Longer than getting the full 1k in the main game? I'm really looking forward to playing it again.

Operation: Anchorage - 3-5 hours The Pitt - 3-5 hours Broken Steel - 5-8 hours Point Lookout - 3-5 hours Mothership Zeta - 3-5 hours That's all depending on how thorough you want to be. The Pitt will take you a while as it has a collection achievement for finding 100 metal ingots, but I was lucky as I had Lynnie reading a guide out to me. If you've not done any of them then I would personally suggest doing Operation: Anchorage and Mothership Zeta first as they're more action based, and for me not as enjoyable as the other 3.

What is the DLC? Excuse my ignorance. Is that an expansion mod?

Yup, 5 expansion packs for want of a better description. Broken Steel is the best of them, as it allows the game to continue after the "end", and also ups the level cap from 20 to 30 (it's possible to hit the level cap of 20 way before you finish the game).

Yup, there's no order to them so you can get them in any order you like

Anchorage takes about 90-120 minutes. The Pitt about 120-240 minutes (mainly spent finding things). Broken Steel takes about 180-240 minutes. Point Lookout takes about 180-240 minutes (but has quests that aren't achievements so can take longer). Mothership Zeta is about 120-180 minutes. Those are all first time play through estimates, though it took me 13 hours to do Broken Steel, Point Lookout and Mothership Zeta as I was taking my time and trying to find everything as well as get all 3 level 30 achievements. All told they aren't as long as the main campaign, or as well done bar maybe Point Lookout which it's clear was their pride and joy as far as the DLC went, it's superb looking, well designed and has a lot of new props. 1) Point Lookout 2) The Pitt 3) Broken Steel 4) Operation Anchorage 5) Mothership Zeta The irony is, for items picked up within those campaigns and their usefulness throughout the game, reverse the order of them. Last edited by NokkonWud; 03-09-2009 at 18:09. |

The ammo press is handy, but you get so much of it in the wasteland anyway it barely matters. Plus Broken Steel and Mothership Zeta practically throw it at you .
