Each to their own. I'm still finding this interesting enough to keep watching but very nearly gave up on Lost at this point in Series 1 (glad I didn't as it turned into one of the best programmes I've ever seen). As for Heroes I won't even go there
I am tempted to read the book, maybe I'll save that until I've seen the whole thing though. |

Im still enjoying it too, its much less of a head**** than lost has become, and I still persevere with that (mainly to bloody well find out whats going to happen at the end now )

FlashForward just hasn't engaged me, I have no issue with complicated or convoluted story lines but they have to keep me engaged. If you're still liking it then fair play though you are of course wrong |

Still keeping me interested but I can see why people are dropping off it, you get a strong sense it's being spread very thin across this first season. Things like suspect 0 and the crows took 2 episodes of faffing each to explore, and even then only just scratched the surface. I suppose there's A LOT of character development involved to make it seem realistic. The impact a FlashForward would have on people's lives would be immense, I suppose they're trying to walk a fine line between portraying a genuine psychological mindfield as accurately as they can, and also not bore the audience to death.
One thing though, has nobody reminded the lead FBI guy (forgot his name) that trying to change the future events, is probably what actually causes those events to unfold the way they do anyway? General theory of relativity means that if the future is indeed set before us in the same way the past is set behind us, we cannot influence it. Just like we cannot influence that which has already happened. Influencing the timeline is a paradox and you never win, you may as well just let what happens happen and get on with it. So, he should just accept she's going to cheat on him and go off and sleep with a new woman himself. Oh wait, maybe that's why she cheats? Because he cheats first because he thinks she's going to anyway? ARRHHH PARADOX, SEE WHAT I MEAN?

Sort of a reverse grandfather paradox. You see the future and you do something to change it, which means the future that needing changing never happened, which means there was never any opportunity for you to change it. Graaah.
I'm enjoying FlashForward generally, it's introducing enough to keep me interested. At times though it doesn't seem very believeable tho - not because of the plot but just because of some of the interactions between the characters. Case in point last week was the FBI lady and her girlfriend - seemed very stilted. Also the head FBI guy lurches from being 100% behind Mosaic to being an obstacle. Still, no series is perfect and it's got potential. Lost is still better and more infuriating at the same time tho

FF and Heroes are all going a bit slowly for me at the moment....I severely dislike it when you can predict the story 15 - 20min ahead of watching it, and to your utmost surprise, the next 15-20min play out the 5min-worth of actual content which, due to being more intelligent than a banana, you have already guessed
I'm bunching the series up in episodes to speed watch them as a result! |

OOOo was that Rodney Rowland (Cooper Hawkes - Space Above and Beyond) I saw getting strangled by Dominic Monaghan? Nothing too shocking for me in this episode, seems to have slowed down a little, still liked it though.
