Well no, but I doubt the authorities would mind too much considering the circumstances, however I didn't have such a thing available to me - All I had was my .22

I don't think you could take it out with a gun full of Ammo to be honest. They had incredibly thick, strong flesh and thick muscle.

That's why I was thinking through the eye to try and hit the brain. It'd be messy with the eye exploding and eye juice everywhere but I think it's the only way. Oh, and inserting a dog into it's bum of course

Depends. What kind of .22 was it?

A bolt action Remington single shot? You're dino food.
A Ruger 10/22 with the optional 30 or 50 round clip? That could go either way. You might piss it off and be worse off. Or you might get 5 rounds through the same hole and hit a vital artery.
The kit that puts 6 Ruger 10/22 semi autos together in a gatling cannon? Dino burgers anyone? Dinner's served!!
