Default Noob Questions

Hi guys

Rob recently got one of these things and wanted some apps, so I downloaded itunes to my laptop and connected his iphone.

Obviously it has now registered his iphone to my pc/itunes :/

Will he be able to sync his iphone with his own laptop now? Tbh I want to delete the whole thing and get his iphone registered to the itunes on his laptop and (if I get one ) be able to register my hyperthetical iphone to my own iTunes.

Thanks guys

You can only sync with one iTunes library at a time which can be a pain. What he'll need to do is plug it back in to his iTunes and then right click on the phone listed in there and choose to "backup purchased items" or whatever it is. That will then copy his downloaded apps on to his machine. Or of course he can just download them again as they'll be tied to his account anyway so anything he's paid for will still be free to download again.

Thanks

We haven't downloaded anything yet - so is it ok to scrap everything and start over?

i.e. he syncs with his own iTunes on his OWN laptop?

Thanks
