Classic films you've never got to see..
It appears I have quite a long list films i've not seen and this year I've been trying to go through them.
That's what I like about goiing to the likes of blockbuster is that you can pick and choose what you like unlike sky who have never had a good choice. Just same old same old. This year I have seen the "God Father series" which i enjoyed, and the "the Shawshank Redemption". Totally brilliant. This weekend, I watched "Scarface". Hmm some of you aren't going to agree with me on this one.. but what a pile of crap..!! Can't believe I watched it to the predictable end. .. and I've still not seen "Top Gun". lol what about you chaps?

I think I only saw the Godfather trilogy at the start of this year, and I must confess that I thought the first one was the best one, contrary to popular opinion. I recorded Carlito's Way at the weekend so will probably watch that down the week. There are loads of old films I've never watched but really want to see, most critically acclaimed. Amongst them are Gone With The Wind, Casablanca, Citizen Kane, It's A Wonderful Life, and pretty much every Alfred Hitchcock film. So, quite a few!

Very weird especially the end but the start middle is very cool, especially the 'Charlie don't surf!' bit

Yup.
But I'd try to get a copy of the original film and not the Redux which adds some very unnecessary crap. Simon/~Flibster

There are masses of films that I've not got round to seeing unfortunately including The Godfather Trilogy, Carlito's Way(although I've read the book), Citizen Kane and I don't think I've watched any Hitchcock films either
One major film I'm quite proud of not having seen though is Titanic, in fact I may even have dived out the room once rather than watch it.

Ummm I haven't seen the Godfather trilogy yet! Read the book(s) though so figure that's a little bit excusable....haven't seen Apocalypse Now either....in fact thinking about it I haven't seen a lot of classic 'classic' films, there's too many mindless action films out there diverting my attention

For me: Godfather 2 and 3, Rocky (any of them), The Shawshank Redemption, Lord of The Rings (if you count it as a classic), Harry Potter (Again if that counts), Citizen Kane, Casablanca, and probably a whole load of films that people would go 'OMG how have you not seen that?' Somehow I never get round to it. :undecided:
