Let work know that I'm not coming in. It doesn't look good though as I only managed one day back at work after the break then being off again. I will give it a crack tomorrow though if no more snow comes down.
edit:- now I'm pissed, two local nutters to me at work rung me up saying they are going in

see if they get in first Zirax, people have gone into work from near here and it took over 4 hours to go less than 10 miles.

I tried to get in, and didn't think the main roads were that bad condition wise, but the traffic just wasn't moving - it would have been lunch time by the time I got in, so turned back and will work from home

Waited for my normal train... ok any train as revised timetable... one turned up couldn't get on... they said 20mins till next one.. more than 30mins later - 45mins at station didn't get on that one either.
Managed to get bus to N Greenwich and tube to LB then another bus and just got here lol. Apparently most people made it in.... booo! Apart from the manager who, of course is working from home... BB x |
