Radio 4 Today programme racing tip of the day?

Every day on the Today programme they give out a racing tip of the day. I'm sure this tip used to be posted online on the Today website but I can't find it now.

Can anyone with more efficient Google-Fu see if they can find it please. I'm going to do an experiment.

You'd be better off with a pin and a blindfold, they seem to pride themselves on being consistantly wrong.

I'm not so sure about that. It's always a matter of ridicule between the presenters but when I tried this before I had four winners in a week.

The timesonline seem to get it right most of the time. The guy on there gets either 1st or 2nd in almost all his races.

If you know what time roughly the tip was read out we could listen to the programme again and stick it up

Their tips are both for Plumpton:

2:30: Coup Royale (7/4)
3:00: Piper Royale (5/2)

Both are current favourites

Here are the times tip guy's choices for the same races;

2.30 Coup Royale (7/4)
3.00 Hoback Junction(7/2)

Thanks Leo, unfortunately I'm not able to do the listen again thing while I'm at work and I can't guarantee to be in a car every day at tip time, hence why I was after a link. I shall email the beeb.

Both the ones from the Times guy came in, just the first of the BBC ones was a winner.
