People in meetings get disturbed by me because I gaze off into nothingness during them, to the point where they don't think I'm paying attention, and then all of a sudden I'll ask a pertinent question.
The network manager at Claranet had a habit of walking around when he was on the phone. If the call went on longer than 5 minutes he'd start pacing right up and down the length of the office. Usually if they went on that long though it would be because he was dealing with muppets, and he'd be arguing with them trying to make them see sense. Thankfully that was maybe a twice a month occurrence, the rest of the time he was quiet and sitting.

When I'm on my mobile phone I tend to wander about a bit, not least because I've never been that keen on talking on the phone - I figure what's the point in a mobile phone if I can't use it when I'm on the move.
I'm not sure if this counts as an irrational annoyance but at the moment having to use a MacBook is hacking me off no end, for all that people say Macs are intuitive and nice to use I just find them the opposite. The touchpad isn't particularly responsive, there's only one mouse button, there's no page-up/down buttons as far as I can see, whenever you go to the top left of the screen it automatically makes the screen go gold and deselects the page. Why there's both an up and down button at the bottom of the scroll bar when there's an up button at the top as well is anyones guess - about the only things I do like about this MacBook is the battery life is pretty good and that when you press the down arrow it will go to the end of the sentence.

You can change the trackpad to do pretty much whatever you want - tap to click or not, two-fingered tap for right-click, two-fingered slide () for scrolling etc. There ought to be a disclaimer that it's intuitive once it's set up how you need it.

Cheers, I knew about the two fingered slide for scrolling, didn't know about the two fingered tap for right click although I've done it by accident a couple of times and not known how I've done it. Still don't like it much but maybe I'll get used to it.

0% Alcohol drinks.
Why make something 0% then make sure people are old enough (18!) to buy it!? Surely this makes less sense than me mashing the keyboard: qeruivuio asdf uiovba Thoughts?

Check the label, "0%" drinks are rarely alcohol free, they're usually something like 0.5% or similar so still subject to the same laws as normal drinks.

If a drink has 0.00001% does that still make it illegal to buy for kids?

Sadly, yours isn't mine. But if you stopped writing about other things and made this your signature, yours could be like mine. Look down, back up. Where are you? You're on Boat Drinks, reading the signature your signature could be like. I'm on a computer. |

People.
Just in general. Even more when they're introduced to London Underground. **THIS MAY BE RATIONAL**
