One of my old teachers is running again this year, getting to be a regular participant from her running club. Bro-in-law seems to have stopped doing marathons now, which is probably sensible given the problems with his hips/thighs that almost always seemed to follow after one of them (a pre-existing problem just exasperated by long distance road running)

Anyone know how Kate is doing? I'm using the facebook marathon tracker app and its done a 10k update for another friend but not for kate

edit - kitten says it puts kate at 0km so obv app is borked

The app seems to be working now. It says that Kate started at 09:55:53 and has run about 13.1 miles so far.
