In the 16 months I've had mine I've only had 2.6Gb! Less than 200mb per month.

Mine's 750Mb total (up+down) in the nine months I've had mine. Most of the big stuff like app updates and - until recently - even VoIP requires wi-fi anyway so my iPhone 'lives' off wi-fi first (as I'm sure most people here also do). What the top 3% do to use a third of mobile broadband rather boggles me.

i've used 150 meg on my phone this month already. (I reset the counters every month just to keep an eye on things)
I usually get to about 500 meg by the end of the month. |

I tether with my phone a bit, so its fairly easy to move more than a few hundred megs of data.

I can check on my nokia, its in the same section as the calls bit where you can look at missed/received/dialled calls, but that probably doesn't help you.
I also use free wireless wherever possible (like when i'm at home) so my actual usage is a fair bit higher because that doesn't get counted. |

iPhone right?
Settings > General > Usage > Bottom of the page. I'm on 1.0GB now and I've had the phone for about 9-10 months.

Sitting on about 3Gb after having had the handset for 18 months...
a 500MB/month cap wouldn't really phase me, as with others then the majority of large files/stuff is done on my wireless network at home. As Alex has said, tethering is likely to be the major cause of overuse. When I was internetwebless last year I used the sim (tethering in another phone) to get onto t'internet and there was a slight amount of overuse there...

Since October 2008 I've received 801MB. I'm guessing a 500MB cap won't even register on my radar!
