Ah well... works well enough, just a bit sluggish now. Still, gives me more of a reason to get an iphone 4!

Mine showed an error code which indicates a hardware issue. Something to do with the battery. It was stuck in recovery mode and wouldn't restore or do anything. Just had the connect to iTunes pic on it constantly.

It's not been jailbroken or anything. Leon's managed to sort it using a 3rd party ap and I have everything back, but it has restarted itself a few times whilst connected to iTunes and twice since it's been disconnected so it's not fully fixed yet. Bloody thing!!!

Pretty much the same as mine, but I lost all my settings on my apps & stuff. Hopefully yours will be fixed very soon!

As in whether the updates work fine from a Mac but are failing from a PC, as iTunes on each is slightly different afaik.

Yes I understand that but he knows I have a Mac.

Did yours keep restarting? Leon's looked on the support forums and there are a lot of people with the same issue. No fix as yet

When you're ready to try again, use the USB charger that (hopefully) came with the iPhone to fully charge it. This is more reliable than a PC and should ensure you have a good full charge before starting.

Many other USB chargers - and some USB ports - don't charge the iPhone well, so the battery may have drained during the upgrade.

And I also know the ones I've seen working have been done from PCs. Strange, but true. Highly unlikely to have been the issue of course.

It restarted twice, but then just started working normally - wasn't consistently doing it like yours is

Mine was done from a PC (Laptop) too Mark, but as I said, you know I have a Mac so I was just wondering how you knew which one I used. Have you been installing cameras again??

Cameras? Who needs to install them? There's one right there in your iPhone!
