Had an e-mail from big bro this morning confirming a little trip when I get back home. I get back on the 16th and it's my birthday on the 20th. Big bro was planning on coming down to Newcastle on the 19th for a few days for my birthday but it sort of escalated into a week away.

We both enjoy walking so we're off for a week in the Yorkshire Dales, staying at the Tan Hill Inn - the highest inn in Britain. We have a room booked for the first 3 days but they have no rooms available for Friday and Saturday so we'll be camping at the weekend and then back into the room for Sunday and Monday.

Going to be great spending my birthday with my big bro and doing lots of walking in the Dales.

After that, I'm off up to Dunbar to visit my little bro and his family who are having a couple of weeks in his father in law's caravan when they get back from Spain. I'll be there for 2-3 days - probably in the tent again.

Looking forward to seeing both my brothers and my sister in law and my nephew and nieces. Good times.

Really need a break away but saving for the wedding at the moment... soooo looking forward to our Honeymoon in Lapland.

Was hoping to be able to afford a couple of nights somewhere but it doesn't look like it's going to be possible.

Very true, but even if we hadn't, we still wouldn't be getting a holiday. No funds were diverted from the Feek household to buy goodies, in each instance older things were sold to pay for newer things and if the newer things hadn't come out, the older things wouldn't have been sold.

I think that makes sense, I understand it anyway
