I might have missed it but where in Lapland are you going? If it's Finnish Lapland then take a trip into Rovaniemi and visit the teashop there, it's run by a friend of mine.

Ah cool, well have a great time there, the Ice Hotel is supposed to be fantastic. The shop isn't like a tearoom though, it's speciality teas and coffees - possibly the only one in Finland or at least the only one that far North - if you ask nicely Blanca probably has a kettle somewhere in the shop to make you a cuppa though.

Are you going to the Ice Hotel, Piggy? I went to the Ice Hotel near Kiruna, Sweden a few years ago and it's absolutely breathtaking! I got to see the Northern Lights too which is a sight I'll never forget.

I've been to Iceland, would love to go back. I was only there for about 18 hours, so didn't get to see much. A look around Reykjavik, a trip to a fault line and a dip in the "blue lagoon"... that was about it... It was damn expensive though, a coffee, a stubby beer, a slice of cake and a couple of scoops of ice cream.... £17, and that was 10 years ago... lol.
