The lady who organised our Christmas party refuses to come as you can guarantee that some people will end up moaning about food/booze/location/getting home/etc and she knows that she will end up slapping them. At least this year we have a London office party as well so she can go to that instead.

People who sit on an aisle seat on the train and place their bag/belongings on the window seat.

Willies who insist on sitting in the bike store then refuse to move/cause a huge fuss when bikes get on.

I know how she feels as I am organising that too!!!!! I explain to everyone that they should BE GRATEFUL that they are getting one paid for them!

I've found out that people at my previous company who have said that they are attending the party and don't turn up have £30 docked from their wages!!!

Sounds a little bit harsh, all the more for everyone else if they don't go and they may have a valid excuse.
