With no traffic it's about 90 minutes. From yours I'd head through the Blackwall Tunnel, up the A12, M11, M25 then M1. Watch out for the average speed camera zone on the M1, most people go back up to 70 when they clear the first loat of roadworks but the 50mph zone is still in place until about J13.
If you can't get there then an evening collection wouldn't be a problem for me, I'm rarely out of the office before 7. |

I think auctionsniper gives you free snipes. It did when I joined & it does when you recommend someone.

Can someone explain the need for a specific sniping tool to me please? When I bid on an item, I decide on the maximum amount I am willing to pay, enter that in and let ebay bid automatically. What are the advantages of using a sniping service over the automatic ebay bidding tool?

It's a question I've often asked Stan. Not sure I understand it either!

Because usually when I am bidding I am watching as well and usually bid in the last minute.
Tonight I won't be at a computer so need someone to do it for me! Wouldn't usually be a problem if it was something I wasn't too fussed about. But I want this BB x |

Someones bids £3, eBay will automatically put in yor £5 bid in for you with all the time remaining. This give the other person time to outbid you. With a sniping tool, that £5 bid would be withheld until 1 second left should someone come in with a bid that's higher than your bid and under your max bid. |

^^ this. I've currently bid up to £20 on an item via sniper, but the auction shows '0 bids'.
So, if someone else thinks they can sneak up at 5 minutes to go and bid low because no-one else is insterested, then unless they're prepared to bid over £20, they aint gonna get it Also reduces the chances of people pushing up the price because x amount of people are interested. Keeps costs lower, in general.

I did and I still use it. I've never paid for a snipe on there at all. I put a small link on one of my web sites and just the fact that it's there gets me a free snipe per week.
