I obviously knacked myself out yesterday as I had to split 7.5km tonight

Maybe its because I started on 10.5km/h & yesterday I might have been starting on 10.3km/h with 0.5 incline :/ so knackered myself out before I even started. Trying to build my stamina so can run longer distances.

4.5km 26m 30s
3km 17m 27s

Total= 44mins apx

I read that as ..."A little odd as YOU have frankenipples"

If he does then those things will fit perfectly

Been using the Garmin 305 to record my heart rate for training. I had to do a 45 min fartlek session today. 8x 2 mins at anaerobic rate then 3 mins rest. I really struggled to get my heart rate up to my anaerobic rate. I was just about maxing out my aerobic rate.

I also read that losing 2 stone takes about 15 mins off your time. It's gutting to know that no matter how hard I train I just won't be able to set a great time. It's like running with a handicap.

Nice one Best time of year for it as it's sunny in the evenings. Running when its dark at 4pm is annoying.

I'm stepping up my marathon training. I figure its better to push harder now than later. My basic training plan seems a little too relaxed really. 3 miles, rest, 4 miles, rest, 5 miles, rest, long run. Occasional fartlek one week or hills the next. So I'm shaking it up a bit and adding at least hills or fartlek a week along with a good 1-1.5hr cycle.

I ran during my lunch hour today, it worked quite well, there are showers here at work so it's easy to get out for 30 minutes get back have a shower and be back at my desk in under an hour. I'm going to try and do this three times a week which will take the pressure off trying to run in the evenings after Amelie is in bed or missing out on spending time with her

So very proud :-)

And I love running on dark chilly winter nights when you can see your own breath. I'm definitely a winter/spring runner. Have to get up too early in the summer to get out before it's warm
