I bought mine in Poundland.

I mean REALLY?! Who the heck would buy cables at that price when you can get a 10m patch lead for around £2 and a decent quality and rated HDMI cable for £5???

+1

Shops complain about not getting customers but if us as general consumers can purchase these items for a 10th of a price they they need to stop trying to put a 90% markup on it and we'll buy it.

USB extension cable, £10-£15 in Halfords, got it for about £3 online.

This is a seriously annoying one for me. I got a bucket load of CD's for christmas. Yay.

However, due to the new environmental bull**** that a load of companies are floating about at the moment, most came in cardboard sleeves. Lovely, very treehugger friendly. Not overly CD friendly though.

Went through the 23 cd's I got and only 2 of them don't have scratches on. Thats because those 2, were in plastic trays inside the cardboard sleeves. Luckilly, all play ok so have been ripped to the server and then put into storage as it normal for me now.

What the hell is the point of sticking items in packaging that damages them?

My older brother bought me a magazine Subscription to Harper's Bazaar for Christmas :/

Not being ungrateful but I don't have time to read the newspaper let alone magazines... I never buy magazines because they are usually full of ads of clothes/accessories that I will never be able to afford :/

In this case... the first 53 pages of the 180 page magazine are full of adverts.
