Mud! Wheeeeeeeeeeee!

Just did a green lane which was ridiculously hard (Sam was super struggling and kept dropping his bike). Massive long incline of just mud and streams of water and slippy slippy rocks. It was hard and exhausting!

Granted, I had to let Sam take over half way up.... I still managed the first part which was the steepest and rockiest! I just felt after the bike crushed my leg I should probably back down as I didn't want to hurt myself!

Going back at somepoint in the future with a bag of determination and cameras!

Over 2 weeks without a delight post, but multiple dislikes! Must address the balance! Today, I was delighted by banter at the car boot; really enjoyed making off the cuff remarks about things people were looking at and making them laugh!

Other delights include being on the 8 week summer break! 8 weeks!

Message on the internal portal this morning:

Title: Wellies

"My team has noticed an interesting quirk with email which is worth alerting you to! If you type wellies into an email, Outlook automatically changes it to willies.

Take care - we have had some embarrassing moments recently!"

Rhythms of the world!

4th year stewarding, and it's getting better each year.

Oh, and being turned towards the st. Mary curch stage during Spandex Ballet to join in the audience participation of "If you **** with a Beatle, then you're ****ing with the nation. If you **** with a Beatle, then you're ****ing with me!"

It's a song about Heather Mills

Being dragged up on stage with the Reduced Shakespeare Company last week at the Lichfield Garrick. It was one of those moments when you think "OMFG WHY did I sit here?" but it was a good laugh in the end

A number of things:

Getting rid of stuff! I have just sent off 23 parcels and am on way to the post office with another 17! In total on eBay so far... £400... all for stuff I've not used in YEARS and including my greeting cards! WHeeeeeeeeee!

Realising in a couple of months time my home will be my motorbike (affectionately known as Hobbes) and our world will be our oyster! No ties, no work, no worries other than keeping the bike in shape! Probably starting in Australia now (will update other thread later as to why) and then island hopping, New Zealand, Alaska, America, South America, Africa, Europe and... well wherever we like! Life will become a million times simpler

Cannot wait. It's all becoming reality and I really cannot wait Never been so happy, I feel a little bit sick with joy! At the same time though... blooming hard work to organise... and the travel is going to get difficult in the 2nd half but WHEE! Challenge AHOY!
