I've watched and reviewed two more zombie films since my last post.

Romero's 1985 Day of the Dead - another great solid zombie film, a bit darker and doesn't quite reach the giddy heights of Dawn but good nonetheless, 7/10.

Rec 2 - a train wreck if i'm honest. Has some great zombie attack scenes but the plot is incoherent, rambling and implausible, 4/10.

Last night I watched Dead Snow, a norwegian nazi zombie flick set in the icy tundra. It was absurd, a bit confused in that it seemed to want to be a serious cliche horror flick as well as a Bruce Campbell parody slaughter-fest, and it was very very gory with unmemorable acting. Despite all this is I quite enjoyable it in places, and have definately seen worse.

I gave it 6/10.

YAY ZOMBIES RAGHGAHGHGahgahgH!

Watched a few films lately:

Ted Enjoyed and lolled a fair bit! Didn't realise who half the actors were who do the voices for Family Guy / American Dad until I watched this! I will never look at Meg the same again... nor the other way round! For a comedy, light, edible film... 7/10

Snow White and the Huntsman Meh. Alright, watchable, nothing special but nothing too offensive. Did find the divvy bird in it from Twilight was fairly annoying from time to time. Loving the Dark Forest scene though... trippy! 6/10

Ponyo Japanese animation... loved it! Superb animation, kicks Little Mermaid up the bum! Super mental nutty awesomeness! Definitely top of my list for animations! 9/10

My Neighbour Toroto Another Japanese animation... AWESOME! Once again just mentally insaney weird and bonkers but loved it! CAT BUS FTW!!! Super enjoyed, another one to top my animation films! 9/10

Rise of the Planet of the Apes
I liked the storyline to this explaining how the apes became intelligent, it had some decent potential but it just never really hit the spot for me. It was just kind of OK throughout the whole film but never anything exceptional.
