Name a better front man than Liam Gallagher
Easy, isn't it?
Now do it for our generation. We can't come up with a single person.

Well it would depend on what generation you mean... Our generation or the current generation...
For us then I would cite Damon Albarn, Jonathan Davies, James Hetfield, Dave Grohl, Justin hawkins (even though you may disagree), Kurt Cobain, Corey Taylor, Marilyn Manson, Serj Tankian... In my opinion then Gallagher isn't that impressive, I've seen so many bands who put on a fantastic show rather than just being whiney nobs. Remember that we're not the current generation Mat, we're not the current generation, despite us being more prominent and generally having a better idea of what music is, we're past it

I meant ours, not current. Damon Albarn is a whiny nob, and certainly isn't as good a frontman IMO. Jonathan Davies I've never heard of (except the rugby player), James Hetfield?? Seriously? Dave Grohl you could argue I suppose. Justin Hawkins is laughable IMO Cobain you could argue, Corey Taylor I've never heard of, Marylin Manson? behave Serj Tankian I've never heard of.
Remember I'm saying frontman, not just lead singer. IMO Gallagher is the best thing we've had by a long, long way. Like him or loathe him. They're fantastic live too. [edit]Ian Brown I would say is up there, but not better.

Well, I cant really contribute to this having never seen the man live. I can nominate Grohl, he absolutely commands a crowd, great to see. In terms of actually working a crowd the best I've seen is Mike Skinner, though he doesnt really count if we're considering just bands.

Well I've heard of all of dymetrie's nominations and agree with a fair few of them, especially Davies, Hetfield and Grohl

Fish. I don't expect any of you lot to agree, but I've never seen another front man hold the crowd in the palm of his hand like he does.
