Its not because I'm a big Oasis fan that I disagree, its just that I don't agree
I've not really got across my reasoning very well, but I can't think of the words to explain it. I agree with you that Robbie Williams is a fantabulous entertainer, but I wouldn't think of him as a frontman.

So you're saying that someone who stands at the front, is a great entertainer, leader of the group of people on stage, can work the crowd amazingly well, but he's not a frontman?

i'd definitely agree that Robbie Williams is an excellent frontman. he has a weird ability to whip any crowd into a frenzy, whether he's actually there or not. hear "his" songs in a club and everyone goes nuts...almost certainly down to his past musical career, but still; credit where it's due! (i almost typed "cretin" then...this also applies )

Robby gayboy Williams is a Fat tosser i hate him with a vengeance.
As a front man he is nothing more than a musical Norman Wisdom a complete fool or a midget version of Barrymore. Liam is without doubt the Best frontman of that generation. Shame he seems like a complete tosser aswell but that is irrelvent as he is the best frontman. |

Gilly, as far as I can see, you've shot down lots of suggestions, but not presented you rown case for why Gallagher is better. 'Can't find the words' doesn't cut it, I'm afraid. I'm not trying to pick on you btw, just expressing my view as to why this thread isn't working. |

I know why the thread isn't working, its because I can't get across what I mean. Which is why I said it in the first place :/

Indeed you did. Please excuse any RRSI (repetitive reading strain injury).
So, is there anything we can do to help you find the right words? |

Your original post was stating that it wasn't possible to come up with a better frontman than Liam Gallagher, which is what quite a few of us have done. At least in our own opinions. Try and figure out how to say what it was that you wanted to say and we can carry on from there

to be honest, it sounds like you're trying to say "agree with me that Liam is the best frontman ever". fair enough, that's what you think but there's bound to be people that disagree. the original post should've read:
I think Liam's the best frontman of our generation, if you agree with me that's cool...if you don't, that's cool too but i'm not interested in hearing from you. |
