FAO: Haly or anyone who can help really

I want to kjnow if there is anywhere in the North West where I can take a group of Year 10's to look at multimedia and take part in activities.

They are studying a unit where they have to create a game based on a theme of their choice. It is very basic design they need to do, just looking for somewhere to take them that could inspire them a bit that woiuldn't take too long to get to and from.

Any of the local museums have interactive games or activities you could look at? Given my lack of up-to-date educational knowledge I may be way off the mark for what you're aiming at there, but it was the first thing that popped into my head.

How urgently do you need to find out by?
Can fire off an email to a lecturer of mine but I can't think of anywhere off the top of my head.
