Well hopefully it'll turn up soon. You going to request a third one now?
what if all 3 turn up? 2 on ebay? A couple of things about tonight, can everyone MAKE sure they have the new maps? no excuses If anyone else wants to host I'm fine by that otherwise I'll just host the game and send out invites around 8. if that connection error thing appears on screen can everyone do me a favour and stand completely still (well that is if you aren't booted out). The last time that happened we got our connection back after around 20 seconds so fingers crossed that will work. Belmit are you joining us? If you are we'll try and couple of things to sort your mic out I'll invite jay back again as he's one of the only people not on here, well apart from cheets. We'll take stock when everyone is here and fill the teams out. There was talk on the review of a gears tournament, anyone here fancy taking part?

If I ever get my copy of the game (good suggestion about eBay, Leo ) then I can host if you want - I've got a relatively nice amount of upstream bandwidth for a home connection which should help with connection errors.

cheers Burble, I've moved my 360 on a wireless connection and the connection errors have only appeared since the patch so it could be that. I've got a 4mb telewest connection so hosting should be ok but if anyone else wants to that s fine by me

It's usually the upstream bandwidth that's the issue, ie, how fast your connection can send data to other people. From what I remember, 4Mbit TW has 384Kbit upsteam, my 10Mbit NTL has 512Kbit so not massively more but it should be able to support more people without too many problems.

I'm sure I remember reading something about GoW having some connection issues in the past, can't remember exactly. Just rings a bell.

Sorry for bailing early tonight (last night) guys. Was feeling a bit tired and moody for some reason, and wasn't having any fun being killed by JC inside 30 seconds every single round. With the sides being uneven thought it was best to cut my losses and make it even numbers and just go and relax for a bit. Will be on better form next time we play
