Only passed mine in novemeber. Had a phobia of driving after an incident when I was 17 but decided to beat it by gritting my teeth and getting behind the wheel.

Took 3 attempts to pass mind. First time I failed for 'hugging a roundabout'. What can I say? I'm a loving person!

Yup. As soon as we lost Lostkat I said to Muban 'Bugger. I'm going to have to lead them there now and I've never driven there before!' Panic!

Good luck Paula!

Good luck
I was incredibly nervous, failed the first time due to being 'hesistant' when a rubbish truck appeared in a practically one way bridge in the middle of nowhere.
Passed the second time with np and the examiner then was fantastic

Would it have made a difference if it had been a decent truck rather than a rubbish one?

Roberta, I remember the feekmobile crew having a light hearted dig at your driving in Swansea and then feeling all guilty when someone said you'd only passed a few weeks before *blush*

Best of luck!

It's great because

a.) even if you fail, you have your birthday 2 days later anyway
b.) if you pass, you'll have bonus fun from the birthday too.

You can't really lose!

Good theory, except I will be there on her sofa waiting for her return.

I dont think I will be able to stop myself from even small jibes if she fails. Being a girlie type though, she will probably be in floods of tears if I even suggest she is unfit for the roads... Its a tough life isnt it

I was fine when I failed - I only burst into tears and hugged the examiner when I passed!
