I'm about 2x-3x better at Wii Sports Bowling than I am at the RL equivalent. I think one Wii game at least equalled if not doubled my total lifetime RL strike count.

300 is a perfect game, 12 strikes in a row.

Edit: In 3 games my Wii bowling best is 174, my real life best is 233, so still some way before I hit my own best yet.

Me too now

Mic complained that he shouldn't have shown me how to bowl as I won 3 out of 3 games (complete beginners/alcoholics luck as I was getting worse as I sobered up )

in real life you have dodgy oiled lanes that for punters are only put on a short run. plus the fact centre balls are crap and dont react to spin like on the wii.
bowl on league lanes (freshly oiled further down the lane) with a decent custom ball and you will see more consitency in your throws.

the other thing that narks me about wii bowling, the pin action is so random, sometimes a pocket ball will smash the pins all over the place, then others the same placement and you will dribble through the pins and get a horrid split.

also, all that matters in wii bowling is your arm swing and hand rotation, in real bowling its the whole body movement and foot placement.
