1GB RAM is enough for everyday stuff. I've used 1GB for the last four years and it's been fine. Only now am I speccing 2GB. If it's a contest between faster CPU and more RAM for similar price, I'd get the faster CPU, every time. So long as the RAM is upgradeable (some of the thin & light laptops aren't), then it's an easy choice.
Discrete graphics is worth it if you game a lot. 9cell battery is worth it if you travel a lot and want extra battery life. The rest is up to you. |
