MS handholding, it's gotten worse for the end user. Luckily it's pretty much all off in server 2008 (well, no worse than 2003 anyway), else there would have been some p****d off techies moaning at Redmond.

Anyway, I sorted it last night in the end, 2's night's a charm it seems. I think an update must have borked it, can't think of much else that would cause it to break for no reason.
