My xmas turkey

Picture this.....

You are about 5-6 and you've just been told to get the xmas turkey crown and make sure its a biggen. Off you scamper down the isle, narrowly avoiding being flattened by mums on their way for the double cream. Then ....... you see it, its huge! ............. your eyes widen at the thought of devouring such a beast.


You stand there in awe for a few minutes just looking at this marvell, it's majestic, it's beautiful, it's the last one and its all yours!










Then some bastard reaches forward, picks it up and buggers off down the isle!








That bastard ............... was me








I got to the end of the isle before realising, twigged and turned, only to see a sea of mothers faces all with "omg" written on them. At that point it was fair game and I made my escape.
