Booo hiss EGR problem

Tochi had an engine warning light come on yesterday

So tonight I dangled upside down into the footwell with a paper clip to diagnose the fault. I got error code 12 which is a problem with the Exhaust Gas Recirculation.

Hmm I wonder if it is just all stuck open or gunked up or if it needs replaced. I hope it's the former! Well if it's that of course. The code says that but I suppose it could indicate a few things.

*fingers crossed I can get it sorted anyway*
