Only a small amount of progress this week due to circumstances but some is better than none and this needed doing desperately. The headlight trims needed a whack with primer and I had a few drips of paint left which I hoped would stretch.

These are the suckers, rubbed and ready to go:



I masked up a board to spray them on:



Rolled the car back and put a couple of coats of paint on:



Finally where I had started to flat the boot I'd put a load of scratches in it by using paper that was too rough. I was worried it would show through the paint so better safe than sorry I blew another coat over the offending area to smooth it down:



I can re-rub it now with the correct grade paper and my final finish will be better as a result. I figure by getting as best finish as I can on the primer it'll save me work on the topcoat, what with being a novice sprayer and all
