Oh my God I am freaking out!

Ok so this wont necessarily mean a lot to most in here, but I wanted to share my excitement all the same.
I found out earlier that I have made it to the final 5 for "Supporter of the year" at Bristol City football club. Mainly due to the amount of work I do for the fans organisation I am part of. Details for the reasons I have been nominated are still vague. (Waiting for an email) It was a friend of mine who nominated me for all the hard work I have done over the years etc etc.

I am freaking out completely because I have never been nominated for anything in my entire life, and to be nominated for something so close to my heart is even more amazing. There were about a dozen nominations, and these were whittled down by people who work at the club and other fans representatives to 5. The winner now gets picked by the first team squad.

Its all part of the Player of the year awards taking place on Thursday next week, I was helping out with this event anyway, but now I get to also sit in the front row, next to all the players and am therefore very excited!

No point to this thread only that I am very touched and very excited. I wont win, im up against a 106 year old, another lady who has done loads of stuff with the kids at the football club, and 2 other blokes. One of the blokes will win it I think of the reasons hes been nominated.

Anyway aaaaaaaaaaaaaagh!!!! and thankyou for listening to me wittering on!
