Until today there was a monster in my basement.

Using a special code, he would call out a number and I would feed him a corresponding food.

On Sunday he called out 16. I fed him a vegetable.
On Monday he called out 10. I fed him a bird.
On Tuesday he called out 2. I fed him an insect.
On Wednesday he called out 20. I made him a drink.

Today he called out 21. What should I have fed him, and why isn't he here any more?
