No sub and I have four floorstanders instead of bipolar rears. Completly and utterly overkill for my office, but at the price they were an absolute steal I'll sort some pictures out when I have the office more clear, there is currently stuff everywhere. These speakers weigh a tonne each.

Initial thoughts, there was a serious problem with the old setup. In this new setup I do not have a sub, and I don't think I need one. I'm still learning in the technical hifi speak, so bear with me. I find the sound in general a lot softer and in general just sounds smoother. Through the old system everything just sounded harsh and had a very clear "edge". The treble is a bit over pronounced though a quick tweak of the settings brought this back in.

I can't crank them yet as its late but I can't wait. This amp has not been used in a while and I swear its starting to sound better as it warms up! Can't wait to put this through the matrix lobby scene
