i have trained hard in the past but these days i just hide at the back out the way so i dont get told off for being lazy also, defense is the most important thing in thai boxing, avoiding getting hit and blocking and countering now if you now how to avoid getting hit and have good evasive maneuvers etc you don't have to be super fit to spar some one good, you can just move back wards and sideways and block well. this isnt hard to learn and you dont have to train any harder to learn this than any other MA. the typical thai guard is also very effective in real life when defending yourself against would be assailants |
