Pretty much. I've cancelled milk and won't be buying anything I can't eat same day, so the plan is to live with it until Sunday night, empty and bin whatever's left then (Monday is bin day), and then switch it off for a few days and see what happens. I'll decide what to do next at that point.
Reading around I'm getting the same symptoms as some others (same model), which in their case was caused by a sensor fault. They reported that the freezer keeps trying to defrost, which fits with what I'm seeing. Going to give someone a call now and see if they can come out to have a look.
