Walk to the seafront and walk alongside the promenade on the beach, there are some cool penny arcades (some really old ones where you have to exchange your current money for old money) there is a fortune teller like the one in big good fun!

Foodwise: There is a brilliant cafe near the clocktower - its a family run place.. look for the Bench shop which is on the corner, then follow the road down, past Holland and Barratt keep on this side of the road and it is not much further down - it has its food displayed in the window (MB-H would like it here)

Otherwise, there is http://www.mommacherri.co.uk/ which was on Gordon Ramsey's kitchen nightmares... never got round to eating there though.

Al Duomo is good though - which is near the entrance to the pavillion...lots of nice places to eat and drink on the Brighton/Hove border.
