What cooodec?! Confuddled!

Well... I'm presuming I need to download a codec!

Have an avi file (thanking you Lozza!) which I can watch on my xbox buuut if I try and watch it on my poota it only has audio and no piccie!

I haaaaaave... windows media player version... erm... 11.0.6000.6352? I presume that's just version 11

Any ideas people? I don't want to download lots of gumph I don't need see
