Had a pretty crazy night last night then...
So last night I was at a house party of a bunch of girls who were my freshers last year. We were having a great time up until around 00:15 when a group of black youths thought they would crash the party.
Just as these guys got close to the door one of the girls saw them and as they stepped into the house started screaming 'get out of my house' and then began to force the door closed and lock it. They then walked off but for some reason did something along the 30ft or so of driveway to annoy one of the girls who unlocked the door and ran after them. At this point I thought it wise to get myself and the huge man in the room who i tried to recruit to the uni football team before finding he was RAF to go make sure the girls were okay. As I came to the road one of the girls was pretty much attacking one of these guys when one of the others then started shouting "who wants to get stabbed" and jumping around with a hand in his pocket. At that point all I can think of is that my training from stewarding and security work kicked in as all I remember is these black guys, nothing about what happened to the other people from the party. As I stepped out to the street, there was a guy on the near pavement with a white pitbull, and about 4 or 5 lads in the road arguing with the girls. As this lad threatening a knife attack backed off briefly I stepped in to pull back the girl most involved at which point one of the guys pushed me back, at which point i stood side on and said that I simply wanted to get everyone back inside. Whilst doing so I turned my back and tried to take those around me back toward the house. I then felt something strike my neck and the next thing I know I was walking back to the house with a cut on my neck. So, I walked straight back into the house, looked around, asked if anyone considered a call to 999 a bad idea, and got straight through to the police. This was my 3rd ever call to the Law and thankfully the adrenalin meant that the effect of 4 tins of wrongbow was even less than before said events. Whilst on the phone to the emergency operator I heard that an unmarked car had arrived and attempted to purse said youths into the cemetery. Thankfully I was in a house full of nurses who saw to my injury and by the time the police arrived I was okay, so gave my statement and announced that I'd never been more ready for American Football. At which point the officer taking my details questioned if I were a Warrior which clearly meant only one thing, he must be Alumni. (which was the best part of it all!) So yeah anyway... I took a knife wound to the neck whilst trying to keep the good women of the world safe, and then was 'rescued' by Warrior Alumni! Eventful! |
