VLC not pushing dialogue through the 5.1 settings

Joe 90 Absinthe Join Date: Jan 2007 Location: Chester Posts: 2,345	VLC not pushing dialogue through the 5.1 settings So, I've got a 5.1 system running through the optical cable of my Audigy 4 pro but VLC plays the dialogue of video at a level you just can't hear. I have to change VLC to 2 front 2 rear in order to hear what people are saying. Does anybody know what might cause this?
