I've got my strawberries in a hanging basket. They look very happy. Tomatoes will also be going in a hanging basket as they did really badly last year in a grow bag. My potato tops are just about to pop through the surface and my salad leaves are growing. Looking forward to not spending a fortune on bought rocket this year My rasperry bush that I bought last year has also grown tonnes, so I'm hoping for a bumper crop I have runner beans doing very well, which will be ready to go out next week and my peppers are finally coming through.
Herbwise, I cut the hell out of my rosemary & thyme because they were looking a bit ropey and they've sprouted some lovely fresh new shoots. Also have marjoram, chives, parsley, fennel (2 types) & doing very well and have planted dill, oregano & tarragon to add to my collection. The dill is unlikely to be back next year because it's not very hardy, but everything else should be Jonny - cut the rosemary right back to its lowest shoots and it'll sprout again. Takes a while, but it'll happen My basil took about 3 weeks to come through. Thought it had failed.
