Default Storing a PC/temperature

Tried Googling this but as soon as you put the word storage in the search you start getting results about hard drives.

We have some office moves going on and a lot of the people can't be moved in until the office has been refurbed, but their old office needs to be occupied by someone else. Someone has come up with the idea of putting all their furniture/belongings into storage containers (like ship ones) until the offices are finished.

My concern is that IT equipment in a metal storage container in the summer sun is going to be way too hot for it to cope. Not to mention the temperature fluctuations overnight/possible condensation.

Does anyone have any info on what is an acceptable temperature for storing PCs at? All I can find are suggested operational temperatures.
