Vienna - Hotel + Travel help/advice

I recently booked a flight to Vienna departing on Sunday 27th November from Heathrow at 06:00 and arriving in Vienna at 09:20. Returning flight on December 3rd departing from Vienna at 20:00 and arriving at Heathrow at 21:25 - Flights with Austrian Airlines via BMI.

I booked with Lastminute.com and got the RedTicket fares costing £123inc all taxes etc.

Unfortunately due to a minor miscommunication, my aunt is engaged on the Sunday so won't be ready for me to stay.

Since I have booked the RedTicket fare, the cost to change the flight is € 60.00 + Fare difference .

I'm looking at the option of sticking with the original flight out and then staying at a hotel for a night.

I've been looking at www.cityairporttrain.com to get from the Airport to the City centre which costs € 26 for the train + cab ride to a hotel.

Now all I need to do is find a hotel. I have briefly looked for hotels via www.hotwire.com , www.lastminute.com and www.expedia.co.uk but to be honest I don't really know where to start.

Is there anybody who has recently been to Vienna who can help me out??
