Buying a Blu-ray Player

As Christmas is coming up, I thought I'd buy a Blu-ray player for the living room. For one thing, it'll mean the PS3 can stay in one room rather than keep moving around the house

I see on Amazon there are a few about at the moment for £65-70 which seems like a decent price to me.

Is there anything in particular I need to know about them? I only want a bog standard one really. Don't need 3D or anything fancier than an HDMI port on the back. But then again I don't want it being ridiculously slow or dying on me within a month
