Yeah I know I did. Change of heart once I saw it written down on paper though and you've done a 22 miler now which is more than enough You can do less if you like. Somewhere between 10 and 15.

As you've been swatting up, you'll know to expect some rubbish running by this stage. You'll feel slow and crap. It's a sign that you need to REST! No 7 mile runs the week before marathon please!

Glad they've referred you Pheebs. I don't have any faith in the docs to refer me for an athletic injury (they usually don't care unless it affects your ability to work) and I am not willing to wait months for an appointment with a physio, so I've never bothered going. Luckily my physio is great, but she's also on maternity leave. She massaged me 3 weeks after giving birth (her first and only client post-baby) and has put me on the road to recovery. I love her
